New fuel tank
I'm going to have Fuel Cell Guy build me one and I'm trying to figure out the largest one I can put in without having it hang down to low. I'm trying to come up with some measurements, but it's hard with everything in the way. Has anyone else done this or have a burb frame to take some measurements from? Thanks,
Rob

Somebody installed a 73-91 Burb tank in their 67-72 burb. I think it was somewhere around 35 or 40 gals. I don't know how low it hung below the frame but if whoever has it can let you know, the I guess you could give FCG the dimensions from the 73-91 tank???

Sublvr72 mentioned a custom tank that holds 40 gals or so if I remember right. He's parting his sub now. Maybe you could PM him for some measurments??
I have a custom rear tank that goes from the rear cross member to the bumper but the stock tank is in front of that. I can fit 70+ gals(filling both tanks). If you'd like measurements I can get them for you tonight... |

Burb,
I have a hidden hitch, air tank, and compressor between crossmember and bumper so that is not an option. Does anyone have dimensions on the frame back there. Rob
