Parting two 63 V6 Pickups

I needed a couple of parts for my ramp truck. I ended up buying two additional trucks to get the few parts I needed.

I have two complete trucks both GMC's. Both long bed. Both have 305 V6 motors and manual transmissions. Almost all parts are still there and most are in good condition.

I am not trying to make a bunch of money on these trucks. I simply want to part them out so they are not crushed. Let me know what parts you need and I will let you know if I have them and what condition they are in. Prior to selling any parts I will e-mail you photos of them to ensure you are getting what you need.

I am located in Western Kentucky.

I need the V-6 badges that go on the sides of the hood/fenders. Also need a 305 V-6
distributor. If they are 3/4 ton, do you have any hubcaps, and are the rear ends
limited slip?? Would be interested in a posi carrier to fit a Dana 60. Send me a private
message if you have any of the above.
Thanks, rwgregory

outer grill supports

How are the front ends of these trucks? If no big crashes I would also be interested in the outer grill supports

Where do I start!

OK firstly I'm in the UK; could you ship overseas?

Secondly, I need the following;

1) Thermostat housing (the pot metal bit that connects to the top hose).

2) Fuel gauge and tank sender.

3) Sun visors (both sides).

4) Hubcap (mine came with four but one of them is in the verge somewhere )

And finally and more important than anything else; a workshop manual for the 305 engine. Got a Chevy book but it don't cover that motor of course!

Sorry that I have not been able to respond as quickly as I would like. I was out of the country on business. It has been raining non-stop here lately as well so photos were hard to get. I have some photos now so anyone that wants photos just send me an e-mail to bps_ky@yahoo.com and I will send you pictures.

I will respond to individual questions tonight as well.

Thanks,

David

The fenders on this truck are typical. All have repairable rust in them however nothing here that you are going to sand and bolt on. On one truck there is a replacement fender and it has some rust on the back near the lower door edge.

I have 4 of the V-6 badges. All need cleaning and repainting. No other damage though. I do have two V-6 distributors. I have photos of them in the motors so you can see them.

There are a few hubcaps (original) in the bed of the truck and one in the cab. I will have to go back and take photos of them.

I will have a set of doors which are usable and repairable. The doors are the reason I bought these trucks in the first place. I needed a pass. door. I will have a spare for each side. Not a bolt on but better than many I have seen.

Front ends on these trucks have lots of good pieces. No major crashes. Some rust. I have one excellent hood, two good sets of hinges, some grill parts.

I need to see what mounts you are wanting for the grill so I can see if they are there.

The beds on one of these trucks is excellent. Very straight and solid. It is a long bed. Little work needed to make this a NICE bed. Simply needs cleaning up and all new wood. I am taking offers on all parts. I will ship anything within reason. Of course a bed would not be something one would want shipped.

I have several photos. Send me a reply to the above mentioned e-mail and I will send them to you ASAP. I took these photos today.

I have a thermostat housing. Hoping to sell the entire motor as I have two complete engines. I have fuel tanks but I would say if you can get a new sender you would be better off. These trucks have not been on the road in many years.

I have two complete gauge assemblies that each have fuel gauges.

I won't have any door pics for a few days as I have to change some of them around. I have one "extra" door and one complete extra set. I have one picture of the "odd" door I can send you.
