rear leaf spring questions
are the rear 4x4 leaf springs from a 73-80 the same(52 in. ones)?
what are the differences between my stock rear 4x4 springs and the set on my longhorn?

I think your thinking of front springs which are different. 67/68 rear springs are different also. 69 on up are the same either 52" or 56" for high gvw trucks.
As for your longhorn, I'm not positive but I believe they are narrower than the 4wd springs.

My 70 Longbed has 2 1/4" wide springs, but the 70 Longhorn parts truck has 2 1/2" springs. My experience with the 4x4's is they also have 2 1/2" springs. IME, Almost all are 52" except some later 3/4 tons which have the 56" springs.
