Rear of cab not too sturdy?
It seems to me that the rear of the cab right under the rear window isn't too sturdy. I can push it back and forth with my hand. Really buzzes when the subwoofer is going. Anyone else notice this? I rather not have to dynamat the whole area. I have a sliding rear window. Are they not a strong as a solid glass window?

None of them are that sturdy, mine really isn't either. I doubt the kind of window you have would make any difference.

I wanna know why they felt inclined to make the in and out-dentures of it as opposed to a flat back. When i was trying to build a sub box back in the day, that kinda ticked me off cause it robbed space.

The in and outs add strength, sort of like a corrugated cardboard box. Thats why alot of floor and trunk pans aren't totally flat. But why they dont go all the way up to the window i do not know. I was surprised to see it vibrate so much to bass when i was looking for rattles.

As stated that is a single piece of metal supporting the rear of the cab. They put the recessed areas there to add strenght. The reason it doesn't go all the way up probably is because of appearance. It can be hidden behind the bed. This is also why bed floors aren't flat.

Couldn't A Person Spray The Bed Liner Thick Material On The Indside Of The Cab And Than Grind It Fairly Smooth Just For Apperance Wouldn't That Stiffen It Up And Not Allow It To Vibrate As Much?
