Steel Cowl Scoop
I posted a while back looking for a company that sells steel cowl scoops. I am not looking for a hood, just the scoop. Somebody sent me the right link and I thought I had saved the URL but apparently I did not. Can any of you guys help me out with this one? Thanks in advance.

I don't have your answer but this might help if the link was posted in your thread. Go to user CP on the right go to subscribed threads, this should show all the threads you have posted in if you are subscribed. It works even though there is no search function.

I put one on this hood. It's is a decent product all in all. Comes way long so you can put it as far front as you want. The cowl had a few waves in it that needed filler/glaze to smooth out (it was stamped like that), but overall I was happy with the result. I think it would go on a truck hood just fine.
A plasma cutter, and 1/2" air flanger made the job much easier. I cut the opening all the way around, so the scoop sat on about a 3/4" lip. Then flanged the lip all the way around so the flange on the scoop would sit down in it flush with the top surface. tack welded all the way around about a 1000 times. grind/fill/glaze/high build surfacer/paint
