The Longhorn Lives!

I finally took a break from the stepside build to start, tune and drive the Longhorn. It is living on a borrowed 327 but the carb, intake, dizzy and water pump are the originals. The choke spring needs some work and the temp sensor is not matched to the gauge but it was running well enough (and idling finally) so I could take it around the block. It is nice to have it where I can at least drive it around a bit. I guess it is time to get new plates, insurance and start on the sheet metal in earnest!

Looks like she's ready to go to work! Is your brake booster braced up? If so I'd like a close up pic of the bracing. I'm trying to fab some up for my truck.
