Repeat questions - sorry

Guess these have been asked a bunch before, but did a search and didn't find much.
Ignition switch. - Did the paper clip thing, but only the cylinder came out. No wires attached. Did I break something? Does the ring just unscrew by using one of the 3 notches in it?
Don't have a clue how to remove the lighter and ring. I can turn the back of it, but nothing happens.
They say any dummy can take something apart. Guess I'm the exception.

take apart

Unscrews with notchs--You have to hold the front so the back will screw off. When you get switch out the wires will unplug.
