Power Steering Pump Pictures
Can anyone post a picture of what the correct power steering pump setup including brackets looks like for a 1969 350 small block? Mine has been lashed together from something else and I need to know what it should look like before I can sort it out or source a replacement. Can I just change the correct brackets and pulley over to the pump already fitted? (see picture)

I have the exact same problem. When a previous owner dropped in the '80 350 they used the accesories off the replacement vs. putting the originals back in.
The pump I have doesn't line up correctly, and is starting to fail. Does anyone have pics of the pump inside the truck, with the lines to the steering box? That's really what we need...

the pump and bracket that rod posted is correct, or at least it's the same as the one on my 350....as for the lines, my steering box has an inboard and an outboard fitting.... ouboard is return line, inboard (closest to frame) is pressure... pump has top and bottom fittings, top is return line and bottom is pressure line... hope this helps...

Hoo.. just tried to go snap you a couple pictures but I can't get a very good angle at the pump setup from the top. I would crawl underneath and shoot from there but it's storming like hell outside..

I know mine is not all correct, but I did get the pump/ brackets from a short water pump truck. I had to shim between the pump bracket and block to make it line up. My pully is cast, not stamped, and the pump shaft is keyway type, not tapered pressfit type. I, too, would like a pic of an original ps equipped truck. Anyway, here is my pic.

Thanks for the pictures guys, really useful. I am going to a big American car show tomorrow at a place called Tatton Park just south of Manchester, about 1000 American vehicles expected to be there. Evereything from RV's to military vehicles with cars and trucks in between. I think mine is the only '67 truck thats gonna be there. There is a big autojumble so I may find a secondhand pump, stranger things have happened!
At least I know what I'm looking for now LOL!!

Billogna you can lose the shims if you get correct pulley,everything else looks right.Pulley you need last 3 numbers is 537
