79' silverado weight
I have a 79 silverado single cab 8' fleetside bed 2 wheel drive with a.c. and a 454/th-400. Does anyone have a good idea on how much this truck weighs???? Thanks.

When I weighed mine at the dump it weighed about 4000lbs if I remember right.

Mine tips in at just over 4500#, but it has a few differences: dual 20 gallon tanks, one full, one partway there, also had the th400 and a 12bolt, but did have a 327 conversion, was an a/c truck with hydraboost brake option, had added a full length 1/4" rubber mat in the bed and hinged tonneau cover.
