So How is everyone doing???
Just wanted to drop a post in and say hey to all you guys and gal hehe.
Still never found the truck..so I guess that its been repainted or rebadged or something and probably being driven around. I have just been workin on the house and the bike and such. Got the Car paid off cause of the truck and doing some home upgrades as well. I miss the truck. Its still hard to belive its really gone. I will really have to build another one someday. I have loved this body style since I was a youngin!! Hey, on a side note.. I am relisting my Sub box on the forum classifieds..if no sale...its hittin ebay soon. Its in my way. its very very well built and fits these trucks specifically and has a small amp for mid/tweets custom mounted in it already complete with 2 10" subs. All Cerwin Vega. Also..Steven.....I have that truck cover still.. I need to get rid of it too...in my way mang hehe. So if you still want it let me know. If not...thats cool too. I still cant belive How cheap I listed it for!! ahhhh!! I paid $224 for it!! lol Anyhow...Just lettin you all know I still read the forum. Have a good one!! Dave a.k.a. the evil Cranktoe!!

Hey Dave,
I haven't been on the board in awhile but wanted to say Hi....I was thinking about your truck the other day and wondering if you found it. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't. Yours was one of my favorites on the board RIP Good to hear you're doing good.

Hey Dave, what's up? I see you can't stay away from this place. That's cool cause we need someone around to make me look pretty.
Now that you have all your bills caught up you need to start another truck project....

You can let her go dave... I don't think I'll have the money to paint my truck for a while after it's done, and there's no need to cover up primer. I've got to save up for a honeymoon rapidly approaching and it'll replace a paint job I think

Glad to hear everything is going well Dave! Sucks they can't find it, but you probably don't want it after someone got a hold of it...
DANG! How many owners has it switched to Izzy!

Hey Dave. Good to see you around. Nice to hear everything is going well, except for the truck part.
I've been pretty absent around these parts myself. Been in a slump for awhile on truck stuff. Trying to get back into the swing of things. I found out the only way to do it properly is to spend some money.

I have not been around at all. My truck is sitting collecting dust because of the gas prices, so until I can afford a new engine, she will sit in the driveway. I've had school start back up and switched jobs. I'm much happier now. But sadly I only drive the truck maybe twice a month. For now, I'm using my '76 Civic wagon to get around.

I'm hoping to put a crate engine in the truck in the next couple of months, once the weather gets a little cooler. The temps are still topping out at around 100 here every day with high humidity. The good news is that a friend started working at a dealership, and has offered to get me an engine at his cost. We'll see if that works out okay. Slonaker |
