Tranny ???
i have an 84 lwb with 350/350c it is a used motor and tranny i kinda just threw the truck together to have a DD since finished the tranny has (for a lack of words) builds pressure somtimes and forces fluid out the dip stick tube all over the manifold i have notice in the last week it is starting to slip (maybe just low on fluid) since it is coming out. but why is it doing this is it on its way out or just need some module replaced or something? a little help and thanks in advance

I'm no tranny expert but I would guess a bad seal somewhere on the inside is letting the pump move fluid out where it's not supposed to be. Just a WAG on my part though.

I have seen this in extreme heat conditions caused by towing. Since you don't mention any reason for heat to be an issue, I would have to agree with Mike. It sounds like something is creating internal pressure where it's not supposed to be...

You really need to get it fixed ASAP or your truck will go up in flames. I had a 90 Suburban do that when the trans overheated. There was not hardly enough of the truck left to carbon-14 date when it was done.....
