whats it worth?????

ok folks im lookin at another truck, i found me a 68 4x4 fleetside long bed,, the bed needs to fleet sides on it the cab coners and rockers are shot and the big thing in my book it has no title, but im sure i can trace it abck to the last person who had its titled, how much would u pay in all honesty???? it does run, but have not heard it fire up yet, im plannin on going back to see if i can hear it run and maybe drive it to see how it runs,im lookin for something that will get me thru the winters up here in minnsota, and it looks like a good winter truck, itll be used so i can go thru my 70,,,,, how much would ya pay for it??????,,,,,mark

I can't speak for your state, but most have privacy laws now that make locating owners VERY dificult.
I'd be hard pressed to pay more than 200 bucks for a good running beat up rust bucket.

Just go to your local DMV and have them do a lost title search. Yeah, I know it will take them three months or longer to find the title, but it’s the best way to get a lost title IMO. As for the truck, I would say no more than a few hundred for it given from what you've said, but without pictures I can't give an exact amount.

Call your DMV and see if YOU are able to do a title search on SOMEONE ELSE'S truck. At least, if you intend on fixing the title issue.
I'd do that before purchase, and I would get a bill of sale and have it notorized with a 3rd party witnes.
Gotta cover your rear.
