Went yardin found some cool stuff

Went to my secrect yard friday after work to seee what they had and found a few cool things... Got some 67-68 non-painted head light bezel's(they had a 2 complete 68 clip's)also scored a non-tilt gear indicator light(will this work with tilt?) Also scored a metal GM delete plate (for the guage bezel?)off a 68 longbed...Never seen the delete plate before are they rare they are really cool looking... Also saw some black factory belt's but did not have time to grab them (I can go back for these if some one needs them)Anyways just wanted to share my scores with ya...

That little GM delete plate is called the choke delete plate. It covers up the extra hole for the choke that the earlier 67-68's had.

Hi, could you post a pic of that delete? I'd like to see if it's like the one I've got. Thanks

i've got a bezel that is designed to have one of those. I'd like to get my hands on one if i ever get rid of that choke cable or get rid of the bezel that i've got.

If you want to go back and snag the belts I'ld be willing to throw a reasonable offer at ya... hard to find these and I don't want to buy new ones for the rust bucket... lol

That is the delete plate that I have.. Mine looks brand new and I don't think it has ever been painted.. I have a digital camera but my computer is so old it don;t have a usb port to hook up the camera.. The front clips from what I could tell (I did not look them over really good)were pretty clean ... I can go back and get the black belts for ya pan but it may take a few days as it is 30 miles away..Pm me if your still interested..
