72 Body to newer truck frame conversion?

I would like to take a 2000 GMC 4WD truck chassis and drivetrain and put a 67-72 Chevy body on it.

Does anyone have any experience in trying this. Any help would be wonderful.

I mounted mine on a '92 GMC 3500 cab/chassis. It worked out great. The 4 X 4 might be a little harder but it would be well worth the effort. The nice part of mine is that now I have a '68 that I can get parts for anywhere and it does not have to be emmision tested.

Moved this over to the 4x4 forums. Probably get a better response here for 4x4 stuff.
