Today was a good day
As some of you may recall, I got my truck running last May to find I had an engine problem. A machine shop visit later and I am finally back on the road.
Last night I got my intake installed and this morning I got everything replumbed. A buddy came by later this morning and helped me get the truck timed and the rockers adjusted. We took it for a spin and the 454 really gets moving Sounds so much better now that all cylinders are firing! Later this afternoon I got the grill installed which really looks nice. Need to adjust the driver side fender a bit. All and all, I am very happy today! Finally, here is a sound clip, gear drive sounds much louder on the recording rather than in person Audio Clip

Thanks everyone. My youngest daughter has already asked for two rides and my oldest daughter has had her first ride in it today. Both thought it was awesome, just can't beat that!
4 wheel burnouts might have to wait, I'm afraid I'm hearing noises indicating my carrier bearing is on it's way out.

I plan to have it there but it will be bumperless. Haven't decide if I will go with a chrome bumper or a custom made black one. Leaning towards a black one.

Get that carrier bearing in now man! Ark City show is next weekend, and it is the un-veiling (un-official of course, hehee) we have been waiting for! And by the way, are we all meeting at my house Sat. morning as we have in the past? As usual, I will go down Friday evening and pick up entry packets for those that want to meet up Sat. morning, so let me know. Of course, the more of you that stay home, the more chances I have of winning that '32 Deuce Coupe! LOL! Lookin' forward to seeing you guys!

Your truck looks great man. Looks like the ranch rigs I used to see when I was a kid, only a little taller. Loading hay on that flatbed would be he!! when you got to the bottom of the haystack! Glad to see you didn't put a granny step below the rockers.

Mark, Iv'e been following your progress and remember when you were having problems with the motor after just having got the exhaust installed. Great to hear you're on the right track.
