dash speakers

I blew out the dash speakers in my truck. I have seen many replacements for them wondering whitch ones were best. And were the best place to get them.

Just about any truck parts shop has them. But they all kinda suck. They will work great for a basic AM radio, but if you are looking for a speaker system for a nice sound system the center speaker is not the solution. I would look into building a box behind/under the seat or the kickpanels.

I am looking for something to tide me over, no funds right now(leaking windshield) and then something to maybe use with some speakers under the seat to add high end and front precense. I saw gmcpauls had like some pioneers 100 watts or something wondered if anyone had any of them.

You can mount two 3.5" side by side on a piece of MDF in the stock location.
