need more info on the taillights on the pimp my ride 86 longbed.

I know it's probably been asked or posted here, but I never paid any attention until yesterday when they re ran that episode with the 86 long bed.

My dad seen one of the new chevy trucks with the same kinda taillights on it as the 86 they did. he really likes them kind and wants some for his truck.

They are round out back, and appear to be coming out of the taillight it self.
They are like flat across the back of them but on the sides they roll outward, like 2 bumps. Does anyone know the kind I am talking about?

They used thoose exact tail lights on the pimp my ride 86 truck for that girl named heather. I wanted to look into them, who made them, where to buy and how much. If anyone knows please reply. I can get a picture of the style lights I'm talking about if anyone is unsure. Or at least I will try and get one.
I tried finding one for the pimp my ride truck but couldn't.

I think the ones you are refering to are completely white.. If memory serves me correctly.. There have been a few threads on here about completely clear rear-tail lights.. no one ( that I can recall ) has found a set.. I think some people came pretty close.. but they were not the same shape.

Guys the ones I am talking about are the ones I posted a link of. Dad doesn't and never has liked the all clear ones.

The ones on west coast customs pimp my ride weren't clear either they were black or whatever and the round parts came out of the taillights on the outside being 3d.

I'll go host the pics and post them. the link for them is up top and they sale a few different sets. Ones all clear but red round things for the bulbs.

Theese are the ones I was talking about...

They also have them in chrome/clear

and the other kind

Them first ones is what he was talking about where the light comes out of the housing and sticks out there instead of completely rounded over like factory it sticks out and kinda flat like on back.

I sure would. Dad doesn't like them though and it's his truck. I got rid of my 76 because it was too far gone from rust and I had no way of fixing it and changing cabs and stuff.

I personally if I went with the 3d type like the 1st 2 sets ot lights I'd go with chrome ones.
