Almost current pic....
Somewhere on here I said that I was gonna post a pic of my 89 with the SAS. Used ORU's kit (never again, and gonna sell it), junkyard 4" front springs, OBS rear spring front hangers, homemade shackle flip using the stock rear spring front hanger and a Belltech shackle, stock 3/4 ton springs. GM Dana 60 front, crossover steering (have to on these trucks doing a SAS), 14b full floater rear. Both have very nice for the street 3:73s gears. It still has more than enough oomph to go wheeling in high range. I have a Detroit for it, just have to get off my a$$ and put it in. In this pic it has 35" Baja Claws, but now it has 36" Swamper SXs on stock 16.5x8.25s (Need another one if anybody has one!!!!). TBI 454, 2wd TH400, div. 205 out of a Dodge, 1350 on all six u-joints. Shocks are Monroe something er other, only $22 each at Autozone. Doesn't ride too bad, but still need to fix the shock mounts on the axle in front, angle is wrong. Hook up the t-case linkage, and the biggy (besides state inspection due tomorrow) is a VSS. No speedo, and no timing advance. Truck will run so much better with it hooked up. Best part is I initially bought the truck for $500.
