door panels
It seems that the distributors organize parts by years. Almost all of them are the same excpet the door panels. Are the 72 door panels different to mount....or just in appearance. Just want to make sure that all the mounting holes are the same before I drop 250 bucks on panels and arm rests.

The difference in 1972 door panels is that 1972 doors have long window regulators and thus give space for the plastic door panels and handles to go on. Whereas 1971 & down don't have as long regulators and require a more flat door panel. If you are trying to put 1972 door panels on any doors but a 1972, you will have problems with getting the handles on. You can put 1972 regulators in a 1971 down door though. Hope this helps Trevor
