Need help with tilt column rebuild!
I need to change the blinker cam and wiring harness on my tilt column. How do I get the collar off without tearing it up? Any ideas would be appreciated.

There should be a couple or three screws holding the cam in. Remove them and then once you take the wire cover off the lower part of the shaft, you just pull it and the wires straight out. Oh, you have to take the wires out of the curved harness clip too. Just insert a jeweler's screwdriver into each wire clip in it, and push and they will come right out. Write down the colors to pins first. Jeff.
