tail light housings
I am restoring my 72 swb and a silly question but what color was the housings or when you buy new what color are the inside hous
 ings

I believe new they were a bright zinc however, I paint the inside with hiheat white rattle can and they reflect brighter I tried the "chrome" rattle can but still prefer the white for reflectivity.BTW make sure you clean and prep properly or the paint will flake off. I prefer glas beading as it leaves a very smooth profile on the metal surface for adhesion.
