Van AM/FM radio install ??

Does the van AM/ FM have the same dimentions as a truck radio. What keeps the shafts secured and centered in the dash? In the van the radio mounted like a modern shaft radio with the monting hole just slightly bigger than the shaft and held on with a washer and shaft nut. In my 72 truck the dash shaft holes are much bigger.

Re: Van AM/FM radio install ??

Trucks require a recessed metal "cup" that basically reduces that hole size. I can't find my picture of it, but maybe someone will post it in a little while. They can usually be found on the parts board if you post a Wanted thread.
