Front Clip removal

I need to get busy removing the engine and trans from my now sold truck. I know how easy it is to remove the front clip and plan on doing it this time with the hood on. My question is this, can I remove the front clip without removing the inner fenders too? Has anyone ever done this or not? I know that at least 1 bolt on each side holds the inner fender to the frame. Many thanks. I'll be starting as soon as I get some good feedback from you guys.
