My Junkyard Score
Today while browsing the boneyard. I picked up this funny little metal plate to cover the heater control hole.
The owner was odd as he let me take this piece for free, but would not sell me the firewall plate since he was going to restore it and add a/c someday. I was like WTF??? but i wasn't going to argue It was a white 67 swb CST complete with the buddy buckets, ps, pb and a freaking heater block off plates! Re: My Junkyard Score
I had one a couple years ago. I looked for several years and found one on 67 1 ton. This one was odd with those options and no heater. I wish I could get the firewall plate from him. I will beg next time i'm out there!
The firewall pieces actually look like crap. IMO you would be better off using those aftermarket pieces off ebay. I had ones for a 61-62, 63-64 and 65 Impala. I sold them a while back. I have most of one for a 67 Camaro here somewhere also. I always pick up this odd ball stuff when I find it cheap. |
