Angry OEM Wire Terminal

I just recently got my 72 back from a complete paint job and now I am doing the tedious job of completely redoing the wiring. Does anybody know where I can buy the OEM type FEMALE spade terminals that go into just about every connector on our trucks; ignition switch, headlight, back up. They look just like a regular female spade terminal but have a barb in the back so when you push it into a connector it locks in. Cant find a source anywhere?

Re: OEM Wire Terminal

Most auto parts stores have them. They are also in the help! section. Most dealers have them too, you just need to talk to the right person. Chevyduty has them at a really good price, they also have the single terminal plastic parts.

Re: OEM Wire Terminal

I don't have the NAPA part number in front of me but I do have it at work. I buy the terminals 20-30 at a time at NAPA. I've never been to a NAPA where the guy knew what I was talking about without the part number. (I know a lot of good this post is without the part number).

Get some of the male ends too.

I've "rebuilt" a lot of wires on my truck using them.

They also come in handy for projects like wiring relays into your headlight circuit. I left the now disconnected factory wires hanging there and plugged in heavier gauge wire with the correct terminals into the factory headlight plugs.

A hand full of terminals and a couple spools of the correct colored wire are WAY cheaper than what Painless and some of the other harness manufacturers are getting for their product.
