66 Dropped Crossmember Steering Question
Hi, just finished my 1.5" crossmember drop in my 66 C-10, I was mocking everything up and noticed the inner tie rods hit the crossmember, does anyone have any pics of the mods they did for clearancing of the tie rods?
Or is their another way of making the stock steering work? Thanks Shane |

Check this thread:
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=137398 You need to grind some clearance into the crossmember.

Re: 66 Dropped Crossmember Steering Question
Got the clearancing all done a couple of days ago. Not as much grinding needed as I thought. I'm hoping my buddy is going to come over this weekend so he can get some digi pics for me so I can do a proper intro.
