power brake question
The previous owner converted my 68 to power brakes by using donor parts.
My question is How can I tell if it has the proper master cylinder and proportioning valve for the drum drum setup? And does it matter I know the proportioning valve does matter but what about the master cylinder? Seems to brake fine very well for a drum drum I think. Thanks

Re: power brake question
The master cylinder should have two reserviors the same size. The prop valve on the drum/drum should be about 4 inches long and 1.5 high. The prop valve for the disc/drum is a good bit larger if I recall correctly.

So this setup looks like the correct drum/drum then?
Also does anyone sell these boosters in chrome? Thanks

Re: power brake question
Yeah that's what it should look like. As far as the chrome, check with the board vendors or maybe summit or jegs.

Re: power brake question
I was surfing e-bay and saw these. If you search collector car and truck parts under brakes and type in chrome power booster it will show a few.
