Front bags finally installed

Now that the front bags are in(79 blazer 2600 conti bags) what are you guys doing for a bump stop? Does anybody make a bolt in stop? Also I'm sure its not good to let the truck rest with the bags empty and not be sitting on a stop of some sort. I will be getting the interior finished up after the holiday along with a ART 4-link in the rear. Then I will be asking about tire and wheel combos. Please be patient with me first older body style chevy Thanks for any info..............jesse

Re: Front bags finally installed

I had the shop that installed my system on my 77 build a bump stop. I didn't want the tires to rub so they built it tall enough so it will roll when aired out....

Re: Front bags finally installed

I am looking at using a taller stop from summit racing and using one of the plate bolts to mount it. Anybody done this, or do you think it will work?

As long as it doesn't rub on the bag anything that works is ok.
