More Progress: New wheels!!

Finally got my new wheels on my truck. I know several you were curious and shared my excitement. So, here you go guys...

Plus I found a real cool way to get the stickers off the new tires. From a dead stop, apply right foot to long skinny pedal on the right about half way. When smoke appears in rear view mirror, release long skinny pedal. Inspect tires, repeat as needed!

Sorry the pics are not the best in the world. It is hard to tell, but they are 18"x10" Billet Specialties Vintech Dish wheels all the way around. BF Goodrich G-Force T/A kdw 275/40zr18 tires. Here's a close up.

How do you get the front stickers off, high speed cornering?

Cha-ching!

I'm not a big fan of new wheels on old trucks but that's a great match.

Apparently I missed the memo from MAR-K about their bedsides not having the taillight and back up light bracket threaded mounting holes! If I miss the cruise-in tommorrow it will be because of them. And to make things even better, of course the mounting brackets go on from the cab side of the stake pocket. This means that in order to DRILL HOLES IN MY FRESHLY PAINTED TRUCK, I will need to remove my FRESHLY INSTALLED rear fenders.

I am not trying to blast them, but some type of notice would have been...HELPFULL!

Re: More Progress: New wheels!!

For a tempoary fix remove your top rear crossmember bolt the one on the fender side and use it to tighten down your bracket you will only be able to run a taillight only and it will be a lot lower but it will get you to the cruise in.

That is absolutely gorgeous! Those rims look great - have a nice classic look but updated too. Would love to see your truck in person.
