2007 Burb or Tahoe

Anyone planning on getting one of the new styles when they come out?

I have never owned a brand new vehicle. I generally take 6 months before I even accept body style changes. But for some reason I am itching to get the 2007 Burb.

The style as yet doesn't do anything for me. Guess we'll see when it becomes metal.

Re: 2007 Burb or Tahoe

We already have 4 of the Tahoes at work, I have to admit I was leary of the bodystyle change but I like them. The insides are very nice. They would look good with a nice set of 22" wheels on them.

We got one in Friday at work, to me it looks like a Trailblazer front end stuck on a Ford Explorer body.

I saw one on the Detroit auto show on TV today, and it wasn't too bad. But you think they could come up with something more original though.

Re: 2007 Burb or Tahoe

I don't care for the new styling there are just too many sharp corners on the front that go in every direction that are breaking up the contures of body and is very distracting to the eyes I think.

Re: 2007 Burb or Tahoe

Yeah, I plan to buy one. My wife has an 03 Denali XL and it's time for a new one. I have been waiting for the body style to change to get one. The 07 Burb won't be here for another few months though. I'm not sure if I will get a Burb or a Denali XL again. I like the grill on the Chevy better than the GMC this time.

I am with you N2TRUX, The Chevy front end looks a lot better than the GMC this time. I loved the look of the GMC before this new look, but now it just doesnt look right!

Re: 2007 Burb or Tahoe

all i have to say is that denali is ugly looks worse then the tahoe i think they went the wrong way with the styling on these "trucks" it looks like a minivan on steariods gone wrong what happend to the 3/4 ton models did they discontinu them? i dont see anything listed abought them i always saw these suv's as being very tuff and functional they looked great before and they are very common on job sites and farms cause they could haul lots of people and there equiptment. i dont think gm is going to attract many working guys with there new stying and if they change the style on there trucks to this style they will go bankrupt within a year i know i wouldnt buy one and alot of the people i know will not buy one cause of the style i dunno but i think there going downhill and it's only going to get steeper

I love the new Tahoe! It looks great in person. I just wish I was in the market for a $50K truck

It does. I looked at one last night (don't plan on buyin one, but at night no dealers bother you!) It looks really nice, inside and out. The only thing that might be "iffy" about it is the front valence. It looks way lower in person than in the pics above. I'm sure it was an attempt to cut the air flow from under the truck to push an extra 1/2 mpg out of the big beast. I wouldn't buy the new tahoe or truck for at least a year or two.... last time GM tried DOD in the Caddy's it didn't work so well.......

Re: 2007 Burb or Tahoe

I dont like it but I will take the L92 engine thats in them. With a 4.125" crank it would be a 427, I think that would be right at home in my 71.

I think the GMC version looks better. I sure hope there is another design for the trucks though.
