68 3/4 4x4 in Pick-n-Pull Fairfield CA

Heads up on a fairly original 68 chevy 3/4 4x4 longbed sitting in the Pick-N-Pull junkyard of Fairfield.

Has the dana 44 front axles, rear HO52 rear (assumming 4:11 open since nothing listed in glovebox regarding axles), front grill is good, fleetside bed is ok, has the dealer add on steps, has dealer add-on front bumperettes (bumpergaurds), hood is good, HAD tow hooks I got those now

I'd be interested in the clip, can you provide a phone number and approx location (top middle or bottom of the state) BTW how much did you steal the hooks for?! I am not big into them, but I am amazed at what people will throw down for them. If I want/need a set, I'll just buy new ones. The hooks on my 05 Yukon XL are pretty nice and would fit well.

The yard is about 1 hour northest of San Francisco, one of those yards that you pay $2 and go pull your own. They do not know what they have, and they don't pull anything for you. Expect that it would be around $150 for the front clip. I would offer to grab it for you, but I won't be able to do that until January with all of the vacation stuff coming up.
I goto that yard all the time, and always buy the workers soda when I am there, so, I was able to get both hooks for $12.00. Keeping them to use as trade items for when I am ready to start the bigblock swap in my 67 3/4 4x4 burb....

Re: 68 3/4 4x4 in Pick-n-Pull Fairfield CA

Between the Richmond Pick-N-Pull yard and the Fairfield Pick-N-Pull yard here in California, I see about 2-4 67-72 trucks every 1-2 months. Most of them are longbed fleetsides. In the last five years I have only seen two stepsides, one shortbed fleet, one suburban. No blazers. There are four other Pick-n-pull yards within two hours of me but I don't have the time to get to those...
