Dont get worried I got a tow
But I broke a fan belt and overheated on I95 just south of St. Augustine. Sitting on the side of the Istate with wireless laptop waiting for the tow truck. Damn the bad luck. This is going to cost me.

I hope not I am only about 40 mi from my brothers place. So I am having it towed there I will fix it tomorrow. I just hope there is enough in my bank acct to cover. I bought towing insuranse for just this occasion and now they say they will only tow it 16 mi to the nearest facility to sit the next 4 days untill they open. So much for towing insurance. Im getting AAA after this is take care of.

why didn't you call me here in jax i'd took you to where ever you need to go.st augustine isn't that far for me to have come to help ya out.i thought thats why we all filled out that help list for our friends on this board.

I finally made it. It only cost me $50 for the tow. I will get a replacement belt tomorrow. I just hope I did't damage the engine or radiator. I did check out the list but it only had Josh, Liz, and a few other #'s I didnt see anyone listed from Jax, but I appreciate the offer. I went to the sticky in the General Discussion. Was I looking in the wrong place?
Besides the the tow truck driver was a hottie blonde and I now have a date for new years. She said she is a sucker for guys with old cars and trucks and a chevy fan. So maybe my luck is starting to change. Look out Tree you have competition. |

The list for all the members involved isn't posted, you have to call one of the numbers shown and they will give you the number of someone near by. Glad everything worked out so far.
