Tailgate Filler?

I was wondering where I can get the filler panel for my tailgate to smooth it out? I used to have one bookmarked but I lost the link, any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Tailgate Filler?

I had mine cut to fit at a sheetmetal shop and then we stitched (welded) it into place. Sir Michaels ( www.sirmichaels.com) sells filler pieces, but the one I got for my tailgate, from them, did not fit like I wanted it to.

Re: Tailgate Filler?

Mar-K makes them for most trucks. http://www.mar-k.com/tailgate_covers___weldins.pdf Order on-line, get free freight. You can order it with or without a handle opening. There are full covers that cover top to bottom and "weld-in"s that cover the lower half of the gate. Both need to be welded.

There are probably other board members that have used Mar-K tailgate covers. Was the fit what you expected? We always appreciate feedback, especially if it helps us make a better product.

Re: Tailgate Filler?

I should say here the front bed pannel for my wood floor 67 Fleet was AWESOME. It bolted right up not one thing needed to be adjusted no hole needed to be reemed out. It actually was the only body part that only required just primer and paint and no filler.

I got it from Bills Truck Shop here in Ontario Canada.

You have to appreciate a company that watches the forums for things that they can do for you. That is salesmanship at it's best, good job Mar-K.
