Front end
Hello guys happy new year i was wondering if you guys know what year model truck i can use to get the front end out of with disc brakes that will mount right up on my 65 chevy

if you want to retain 6 lug ---there are differences in some spindles being light and heavy duty. If you want 6 lug be sure the donor has an approx 1.25" thick rotor. I have only found that the L/D spindles 1" thick rotor can be just 5 x 5 lug.

I have 62 pickup with torsion bars...Do I just remove them when I do this converison....any tips?....I will be using a 76 6-lug converison....Also any tips on a transmission crossmember to covert from a 3 on the tree tranny to a Th30 tranny

Hi Pritchard1970, this will take it to the top. Sorry, I do not know much about the 62's. I saw a very near complete 63 short step which runs in southern OK last week and it appeared the front suspension was very similar to a 65-72. I am sure others can tell you about your 62.
