no, not wheel h/p readings, they just started using chassis dynos relitavly recently.
Net H/P is basicly everything they could to get as much H/P out of the stock engine. It was very misleading. They would remove the acc drive belts, open up the exhaust, mess with th timing and tume it better than when it goes into a vehicle.
Gross H/P is as the engine sits in your engine compartment. All the smog gizmos, the entire exhaust system installed and funcioning, even the inlet resticter if the car was to get one. Timing was left as it is on the show rool floor, and fuel requirements were eft to what ever grade was recomended for the vehicle it was going into.

Longhornmail has the definitions of gross and net hp exactly backwards.

That was covered in another post.
Actually though, being dyslexic is more than just seeing reversed images, it is not being able to compahend what it is you are looking at, and often, and hand to eye problem is involved too. This is why i can not type properly, and some easy words I mispell, becouse i look at it, I know it isn't spelled properly, yet I can not figure out what is wrong.
Just a little info for anyone who does not know.

Similar to dysgraphia, a less "public" condition that most likely has similar roots to dyslexia.

Thanks for the replys all......the only reason I asked besides just curiousty is because I was looking at vette specs for my wifes car and noticed I had never seen anything broken down like that for our trucks. Besides the normal stuff such as castings and all.
