Here's what the C/10 looked like when I got it. Pretty high on the grandpa side huh?

Here's what it looks like now after having the front sheetmetal and doors re-aligned and the roof repainted. I also blacked out the windows removed the bedrails and added a spray-in bedliner. I had to paint the rallies back silver, I couldn't do the black rims.

Oh should I mention I also added a health dose of Early Classic drop to the tune of 3.5" front and 6" rear. I plan on ordering some new tires and wheels in the next week or so but I am yet undecided on what I am going to buy. I am thinking 17" slots or Torque thrust. Any suggestions?

Right on. Exactly where a truck should sit.

Could you please get me a measurement between the axel and frame ? I would like to see if my 6" is about the same as a Box kit.

Thanks for the compliment! I tell her that it's hers and she has keys to it, but she doesn't drive it that much. She gets it out when the weather is nice or when I am working on her Jeep. Right now she has her eyes on a 06 350Z.

The guys at ECE claimed 3" but I checked mine at right around 2.5". I don't know if the spray-in liner adds enough weight for the height difference or not. I have dropped the gate and jumped up and down on it to see if I was going to hit and so far I am good. I have actually hit every bump and dip in the road trying to make it hit and it is still fine. The front tires are a little too big (wide?) I finally got them to scrub with the wheels cut deep turning in to an uphill parking spot at speed.

The plate is from a Chevy dealer in Myrtle Beach. If you look closely it reads "Ford says go Chevrolet". My dad pulled it off of a truck in a wrecking yard over 20 years ago. It looks legit (don't know if it is) and I think it's hilarious.

I`m a grandfather and I like the changes

.I think that dealer`s called Coastal Chevrolet now.Not sure,but I bought original bedrails there.Pretty funny,huh?All the trucks around Myrtle Beach had them so I checked the parts counter(earlt`90s).I bought them for my loaded CheyenneSuper K/20,never put them on.

That looks beautiful, the drop you are mentioning -- was it just the springs?

Thanks for the compliment and thanks for the info on the Chevy dealer. I get asked about the tag a good bit but I have never had any solid info about it.

Thanks man! The drop is a 2.5" spindle along with a 1" spring for the front. The rear has a 6" spring. Of coarse there were new shocks all the way around and relocators for the rear. I also used the ECE extreme drop crossmember and super track bar. I also converted the driveshaft from a 2 piece to a 1 piece. And there was a trip made to have new exhaust with an H pipe and flowmasters installed. I hadn't installed the exhaust yet when I shot these pictures, but it runs over the axle and comes out under the rear bumper.

Thanks for the measurements.
I am running Western 2.5 spindles and a 1" coild along with 7" van rallys and they clear the lower controll arm. I guess it's a good thing 2 of the 8" would not balance up Eh ?
