Ram Jet MPG?
Anyone running a 350 ram jet FI engine and a OD trans out there in truck land? Curious as to the MPG? Just a thought

Re: Ram Jet MPG?
I'll be able to tell you soon. I have one going in my 77 Cheyenne that is almost ready for the road. It's going to be a Ramjet 350 with a 700r4 and 3.08 gears. I may consider changing to 3.42's or 3.73's to keep the motor happy....

Re: Ram Jet MPG?
Ken, your truck should top out about 200 mph with those gears..lol.... C'mon I need a peek at that engine bay.

Re: Ram Jet MPG?
Tracey that's what it came with. My plan is to see how it runs then change if needed. I figure the low first gear in the 700r4 and 350 HP should get it rolling out of the hole, and when OD kicks in I should be working on a land speed record of some sort....
