Sporty side mirrors?

I have most of the stuff I need for my truck, but I still need side mirrors of some sort. My stock 72 sports are pitted really bad. I want something I can see out of a bit, but that still look good. I would prefer aluminum or stainless or something rather than chrome. The chrome they use today doesn't seem nearly as durable and pits really bad in comparison to the old stuff. I was considering peep mirrors, but they interfere with vent windows and you can't see very well out of them. Any suggestions?

i too am looking for some type of functional but good looking for my 69,71 72 hybred 4x4 that will be used as all around [sho tow and driver] thinking break away would be nice too
