The black knob just pulls off at the front of the dash.
Then the nut is able to be turned off. The cable pulls out of the bezel. The cable theat goes to the back of the speedometer head is just simply pushed in, to get it out it just pulls out. The cable is squared at the end and fits into a plastic square hole in the speedo-head. There is a spring loaded compression fitting that holds the cable in place at the back of the speedohead.
