Re: Anyone know about this grille on a 72???
I looked at that truck about 2-3 years ago when an old farmer had it. He was big on bailing wire and duct tape. I saw it on ebay the other day by a different owner now. THe thing didn't have a useable body panel left on it then. Not sure what a 4x4 frame and engine should go for but I decided not to bid if it goes very high. What do you think a 4x4 frame and engine /tranny combo should sell for?

Re: Anyone know about this grille on a 72???
It`s a Canadian model,Acadian pickup,lol
It`s not the first rusty K/20 I`ve seen. The grille is a bolt-in,big deal.At least it`s not permanent damage like some people do.I`d say it`s worth $2,000 from the frame down.Less is always better. But,any complete working 4wd system has a value. My Highlander has a truck like that under it,an original paint body on top. ![]()

Re: Anyone know about this grille on a 72???
I thought that the grill might be an early (68-72) ferd......but I am not that familiar with them to know all the ins and outs.
saw that myself....must agree with special-k.....its frame/running gear has to be worth something....I would rather have an older trucks running gear handy to do a body swap on....than a newer trucks running gear....there should never be wires attached to something that is purely gear driven!
