69 Rolling Chassis & Cab

Located close to St. Louis. Have title and VIN plate. Cab has had new rockers and cab corners installed. Floor in good condition. Excellent trailing arms. Will roll, can be towed with tow dolly. Alot of good parts I just have no time to mess with it. Dash & drivers door have been shaved. I'll give it a week or so here then off to ebay. Asking $300.

Re: 69 Rolling Chassis & Cab

Hey Dave,
Got any closer pics of the cab corners and rockers? Low hump (I think)? Hows the floor inside the cab corners? Floor supports (cab mounts)?
In the pics it still has tires on the front also, is the front suspension still there? (I've got a tow bar, but no dollie).

Is the dash welded (shaved part)?

Full of questions ain't I! LOL

Re: 69 Rolling Chassis & Cab

Its a long bed. The back by the cab corner on the drivers side has been redone and new sheetmetal has been welded in. Also the rocker on the drivers side is finished. The one on the passenger side is just tacked in and needs welded to the floor. Ther is a hole on the floor by the rear passenger side cab corner which will need patched. Somebody started to restore the cab and got about 3/4 done and stopped. I have more pictures or can take pictures of anything anyone wants to see. The front sustension is all there. The truck steers and has brakes. The front brakes are a disc brake set up. Rotors and calipers look good. Cab suppoerts need replaced. Need any more info just ask.

Re: 69 Rolling Chassis & Cab

I would have thought sombody would have taken this by now. Again it has a cab that is about 3/4 restored, a disc brake setup in front, and is a complete rolling chassis that has working brakes and steering with title and VIN plate. Someone must need it.

I'm interested but waiting on $ right now, (tax return) and also the dash kinda worries me. I like the shaved look but I wish they would've left the heater controls and ignition switch.

Could ya email me some closer pics of the cab corners and mounts? If ya can get under it that is. That's usually a PITA.

I'm always hesitant about a cab that's had rockers put on it. Reason, I put rockers and cab corners on mine, (my first body panel replacement experience), and my doors have been to big every since! Mine are still good and solid but I just need to cut them loose and "stretch" the cab back to it's original size....
I figure it's easier to find a good cab...

Re: 69 Rolling Chassis & Cab

More pictures attached. The door gaps on the finished drivers side match up nice. The dash could be easily unbolted and another one put in since everything is out of it. Cab mounts look good, some of the bushings need replaced.

Re: 69 Rolling Chassis & Cab

I'm very interested Dave, but right now I have to wait on our tax return.

Or another idea, I might have a transmission sold to a board member down your way, so if he buys the trans and I might be able to bring it to him and possibly buy your cab/chassis while I'm there.

Re: 69 Rolling Chassis & Cab

I don't think I had mentioned it but you can pull this truck with a tow bar. There is a pretty nice front bumper on it. It is painted but in nice shape with no dents and is real solid.
