Re: vin tag?
i too am in kentucky and when i was fixing up an old ford one time, i removed the vin tag to pain the door jams and lost it, went up to the dmv and told them all i had to do was have a sheriff inspect it and show proof of owner**** and they issued me a new one cost me a whoping $15 probally more than the ford was worth, but hey it was all shiney and pretty. if u have the old one if may be easir than that. ne ways good luck hope this helps

Re: vin tag?
Ky will issue you a new or replacement Vin Tag> if I had the original, I would straighten it out with a hammer and rivet it back on.
