Need Help on C-20 drum to C-10 disk conversion

I recently pulled the spindle, rotor, and caliper off of a 72 GMC C-10 at a local junkyard. I am wanting to put it on my 70 c-20, which currently has drum brakes. Does anyone know if the c-10 spindle will bolt up to the c-20 suspension? If it will not, what else do I need to take from the c-10 to convert it? Thanks for the help!

Re: c-20 drum to c-10 disk

take the upper and lower A-arms -- or maybe the whole saddle out of the 72 - grab steering link also --- switch saddles or possibly change the a-arms if the 3/4 a-arms do not match up to the 72 spindle --- grab the 72 rear axle that may need modified if the C20 is leaf springs. You will then have 5 lugs all the way around

Re: c-20 drum to c-10 disk

Or You can use 88 up spindles 5 or 6 bolt rotors are a bolt on to the Spindles. The 1970 lower 3/4 ton controll arm fits the 88 up ball lower ball joint as well as the 1970 upper holds the 88 up ball joint. As for tie rods use the 88 up outers. Here is a link http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...ad.php?t=35042 It might be easier to go this way.

I think you need upper and lower controll arms to use the 72 spindles. The center link might b workable.
