I just picked up this truck today. I got it from board member toodol1971. I drove 250 miles to get it. Todd drove 250 miles also and met me half way. He was a great guy to deal with!!!!
It is a 1971 3/4t 4x4 with 73K original miles on it. It has the original paint and is 100% rust free!!! It is one of the cleanest trucks I have seen.
I will be changing those red lockouts with some NOS blue ones in the morning!! Oh, and some hub caps and tow hooks too!!

The truck is very nice, but not perfect. It has had a new motor put it it about 10k miles ago. The paint has its flaws and it has a few dings, but that is what I wanted. You cant go wrong with rust free and original paint!!

Ya, there is a dent in the gate. I have two green take off gates, but the are both two tone with white. I would be interested in a take off that had the Cheyenne trim and was all green ( and from a 71 with the disc brake sticker too!!) That might be asking too much though

I know of such an animal... not quite a "take off" by my definition (taken off when truck was brand new and safely stored), but a very very nice original (complete with the disc brake sticker). I don't think I can get the guy to part with it, but I will ask. If anything comes of it, I will PM you.
