Re: Thats what im talkin bout!
There's a lot of time and work done there and it's a high quality job but I'm not a pro-street fan. I like cars and trucks that are driven and can be driven. Prostreet is not very practical. I don't mean to offend anyone but prostreet is like saying "I have gobs of money to build something to put around snooty in or race in a straight line only." At least from what I experienced.
Car craft has done articles about cars going just as fast or faster with the newer technology tires with no tubs or mini tubs and you don't cut up the car and personality doing it. Thats a show boat. Pro street is so 1980's. Excess of that era. Give me a rust free truck in black primer like this one on this board. "Retor Ritas" http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=190829 and I'd have a lot more fun with it be able to to buy a few more trucks and build a nice shop out back for 50K. Okay, I'm sure I offended some people now but this board is for everyone's opinion. |

Re: Thats what im talkin bout!
I agree on the too much chop. Give me a 55 GMC with about 3-4" of chop and it looks pretty good. Not too sure 67-72 needs any chop at all.

Not my cup at all but I can sure appreciate the work that went into the body mods. Real clean tilt hood, suicide doors & chop.

I have to agree with you there. Not saying I don't think the truck is pretty sweet. Just wouldn't chop the top.

Re: Thats what im talkin bout!
hmm, listed as a 69, but it looks like a small-window 67 cab that someone's fata$$ sat on and crushed. Looks like dog-poo IMO. I agree, these body-style trucks just don't look right with a chop.
