Really expensive truck. Anytime it's at a dealer it's going to be but when it's on the showroom floor the price jumps up again.

With all that attention and $$$ spent on it two things are bad for me. First thing is that the gauges don't match up. Autometer Pro-comps for the Speedo and Tach then the rest are something different. The second thing is the fuel selector valve is awful looking and needs to be replaced.

Why would any one remove the windshield wiper motor

It's a nice truck but that potato bag interior has got ta go

especially that head liner it looks like a 3rd grader did it!

They need to push down that steering column dust cover.

Very nice truck, way overpriced though I think. I like the interior (except the headliner) I just think they went overboard.

How would you cover pieces like that yourself, Just trim it to wrap the piece and use an adhesive I'm assuming. Anyone have any experience doing that?

For me this is a nice truck but nothing special. If this one has an value of 20.000 I don't know what the the trucks of other board members woul cost.

Ehhhh... That's all it does for me. Nice for sure but I can think of nicer trucks to spend that kind of money on. If I were to have that much money to spend on the particular truck and I were the builder, it would look much different.

Not too bad. Not worth that kind of dough though! And it would be tough to tow a gooseneck or 5th wheel with no mirrors! Not my cup of tea I guess.

That dealer is right around the corner from me, I think I am going to have to go by there and tell those guys they are out of their freakin minds. It must be one of the big wigs at the dealer to be on the show room floor. The dealer is one of the biggest Pontiac/GMC dealers in Texas.

Soemone ought to tell him it's illegal for a dealer to sell a vehicle with knowingly missing emmisions equipment. Somebody who pays that kind of price is going to want the truck to be able to pass an annual inspection so they can legally drive it.

Shaved door handles tailgate handle, but not the gas doors? High performance motor and use 30+ year old heads? Nice, but I think it is more of a, maybe, $10-12K truck.

Love the hood! Wish I knew what kind and where to get. Smooth cowl without the ridge down the middle.

Got to wonder if he's selling it as a show truck only and not meant to br driven? Also if he's in a non-smog county then it would pass. If it was "built" in 81 then it would also be exempt.

Even if you're in a county that doesn't test for emissions, they still perform a visual inspection to assure the equipment is in place. EGR valve, closed element thermostatic air cleaner, heat riser valve in right side exhaust manifold, and catylitic converter would need to be there, and appear to be hooked up, whether they actually worked or not.

That truck is being sold at Beck & Masten Pontiac/GMC. It's right out side of Houston, TX which is in Harris County. It is in a smog check county. Your best bet for this one would be to register it as a classic truck.
It's a very nice truck, but the price is way out of line....

Ditto on the hood, looks awesome. I have never been a big fan of them, but that one looks really good. Like all though, I have a few things I don't like.
i.e. both doors still sag and the rollpan looks like a diff shade of grey. No to mention it would look a lot cleaner smoothed in.
But that is just me being picky since I know what I would like mine to look like, lol. Either way, I like it.
