81 Brake problem

Well I got the 81 LWB last night. I noticed that when I press down on the brake pedal I hear a constant sound of air. The brakes also seem hard to depress. Is this a bad brake booster?

Re: 81 Brake problem

Thanks everyone. The bad news is that Autozone will have to order the part because the truck came with heavy duty brakes "J5 Code".
