New guy here with an earlier project....

I'm somewhat of a regular on the 67-72 sections, but am starting a new project this week.

I've had this thing for a year or so, and haven't gotten really serious about it till now. I rebuilt the brakes and suspension last year when I got it.

I have the front clip off of it so I can detail the firewall and install a drivetrain. I parted out a 75 model truck last week, so I got a decent 350, turbo 350 for it.

Plans call for mild lowering and retaining the slot mags.

I'm sure I'll be annoying all of you over here regularly from now on till this thing is done. I'm hoping to meet some new faces in this section, and of course learn lots of new stuff too.

Re: New guy here with an earlier project....

I started on it yesterday.

I got the frame stripped down and painted. I got the firewall painted too.

Tomorrow, I'm picking up suspension parts on the way home from work.

After today, Sunday will be my next day with computer access. By then, the front suspension will be done, lowered, and converted to 5 lug, and I'll have the engine and trans installed, ready for front clip again.
