Washington State: front bumper req'd
I'm still sorting out how to deal with the crunched front of my frame where the bumper mounts. All the shops nearby have declined to take on the cutting and welding in the new frame horn...I've got one more shot today with Airport Welding in Snohomish. Failing that I'm going to rent a plasma cutter and welder and screw it up myself
http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...636_7_full.jpg Can I get away with no front bumper? If not, can I do the old 2x6 lumber trick? Thanks! |

Re: Washington State: front bumper req'd
I've always wondered about cutting the frame back a little, and getting the bumper shocks to take up the space. That way, next time the kid bumps something, there's no frame damage.
