How do I remove the "eyebrow" on my GMC?

I need to remove the eyebrow trim above the lights on my fenders so that I can paint. How do I get it off? Thanks.

There should be three 5/16" nuts on the backside of the fender that hold the clips for the eybrows in place. You will need to remove those to get them off without damaging them. Do not loose them because they are near impossible to find....... WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Thanks Wes. I removed the inner fender which made it easy to get to the three 3mm speed nuts (metric conversion because that's all I had in a deep socket at the time). It helped that the front clip is setting on the floor of my garage

My 72 only has two clips on the eyebrows - maybe some years were different. I agree, almost impossible to get to nuts with inner fenders installed.
